チャールズ英皇太子が習近平氏の訪英を「冷遇」

中国の習近平国家主席の英国訪問に合わせ、ロンドンのバッキンガム宮殿でエリザベス英女王が２０日に主催する歓迎の公式晩さん会をチャールズ皇太子が欠席することが分かった。１５日付の英紙タイムズは「冷遇」と見なされるのは必至だと指摘した。

　皇太子は中国の人権問題や対チベット政策に批判的で、チベット仏教の最高指導者ダライ・ラマ１４世を支持。１９９９年に当時の国家主席だった江沢民氏が英国を訪れた際も、江氏主催の晩さん会を欠席していた。ただ、皇太子は今回、習氏を出迎え、自らの公邸にも招くなど一定の配慮も見せている。

　英ＰＡ通信によると、ウィリアム王子とキャサリン妃の夫妻にとっては、英国で初めての公式晩さん会出席になるとみられる。キャメロン政権は中国との経済協力を重視し、人権問題への批判を抑制してきた。習氏夫妻はエリザベス女王の住居であるバッキンガム宮殿に宿泊する予定。（共同）

中国外相、南シナ海で「騒ぐな」　ＡＲＦ閣僚会議前に会見

中国の王毅外相は３日、マレーシアで開かれる東南アジア諸国連合（ＡＳＥＡＮ）地域フォーラム（ＡＲＦ）閣僚会議を前にシンガポールで記者会見し、南シナ海の領有権をめぐる問題について「悪意をもって騒ぎ立てることは受け入れられない」と述べた。
