時代を見通す日本の基礎情報

　販売部数の低迷に喘ぐ大手新聞各社は数多くの副業に手を出している。そうしたサイドビジネスの中には、権力を監視するメディアの在り方として首を傾げたくなるものがある。ジャーナリスト・武冨薫氏が指摘する。

　朝日新聞が関西のビジネス中心地、大阪・中之島に建設中の高さ200ｍのツインタワー（総事業費約1000億円）。リーマン・ショック後の不動産不況の中で工事が進められ、「朝日の賭け」と言われたが、2012年11月に完成した1棟目の「中之島フェスティバルタワー」（地上39階、地下3階）には朝日新聞大阪本社と2700席の音楽ホールが入り、16階から36階までのオフィスフロアはイタリア総領事館などのテナントでほぼ埋まっている。
　
　同社は向かいの旧大阪本社ビルを解体し、2014年夏から2棟目のタワー（地上42階、地下4階）に着工、完成は当初の計画を1年前倒しして2017年を目指す。新タワーは25フロア分のオフィスのほか、上層階には高級ホテルを誘致する計画だ。
　
「大阪では経済の地盤沈下で梅田（JR大阪駅前）の巨大再開発でさえテナント誘致で苦戦している。当初、朝日の2棟目のタワーは延期になるんじゃないかという見方が強かったが、中之島フェスティバルタワーはテナントの募集賃料が梅田の一等地に匹敵する1坪あたり2万8000円でも埋まった。そこで新タワーを1年前倒しで建設するというんだからたいへんな羽振りだ」（地元の不動産業者）

　成功の秘密は国の「特区制度」の利用にある。
　
　同社の旧大阪本社など老朽化したビルのツインタワーへの建て替え事業は小泉内閣時代に創設された「都市再生特別地区」に指定され、朝日側の申請に基づいて容積率が従来の1000％から1600％に大幅に緩和された。それによって同じ敷地に従来の1.6倍の延床面積のビルを建てることが可能になり、収益をあげるためのスペースが増え、資産価値は大幅に上がった（もともとのビルはそれぞれ13階、10階建て）。
　
　同社の賃貸事業は売上が140億3600万円で利益が23億2600万円（2013年３月期）。利益率は本業の新聞出版事業（売上4431億5500万円、利益85億7100万円）を大きく上回る。子会社による人材派遣業や保険代理業、文化事業など朝日新聞が持つ様々な副業の中でも不動産事業は収益の柱だ。国の政策の恩恵をフルに受けて不動産ビジネスを本格化させたのである。

　またＰＫＯで首都ジュバ滞在中の陸上自衛隊派遣施設隊の隊長、井川賢一１等陸佐も２４日、テレビ電話で小野寺五典（いつのり）防衛相に経緯を報告。それによると、現地時間２１日夜に東部ジョングレイ州ボルに展開中の韓国隊の部隊長から電話があり「ボルを守る部隊は韓国隊だけで周りは敵だらけだ。弾薬が不足している。１万発の小銃弾を貸してもらえないか」と要請があった。

　韓国の朴槿恵（パク・クネ）政権は国内世論向けに日本との親密さを隠す傾向があり、政府が銃弾提供を積極的に公表する背景には、韓国側のかたくなな姿勢を国際社会に示す狙いもあるようだ。

　韓国の警察当局は２２日、鉄道ストを主導する労組幹部らを業務妨害容疑で拘束するため、ソウル市中心部にある最大労組、全国民主労働総連盟（民主労総）本部に突入した。しかし、幹部らは発見できなかった。

The term Lai Dai Han (or sometimes Lai Daihan/Lai Tai Han) (lai Đại Hàn in Vietnamese : pronounced [laːi ɗâˀi hâːn]; Korean: 라이따이한) is a Vietnamese term for a mixed ancestry person born to a South Korean father and a Vietnamese mother (including the victims of Korean soldiers) during the Vietnam War. Since "lai" is offensive the term "lai Đại Hàn" itself does not appear in official Vietnamese sources, except in relation for example to the name of the South Korean film "Lai Đại H

Vietnamese-Korean mixed children[edit]

The fathers include both members of the South Korean military and Korean workers who were stationed in Vietnam during the War. The children were usually abandoned by their fathers.^[3] The Viet Cong registered a complaint during the war that South Koreans were abducting and raping large numbers of Vietnamese women.

The exact number of Lai Daihan is unknown. According to Busan Ilbo, there are at least 5,000 and 30,000 at most.^[1] According to Maeil Business, there are 1000 at most.^[5] According to Park Oh-soon, the number of Korean-Vietnamese fathered not by Korean soldiers but by Korean workers stationed in Vietnam during the War is probably 10,000.^[6] The causes of the Lai Daihan problem include, rape,^[7] and the desertion of the children.
